Before our final steep drop down a subalpine gully, we stopped for a long break. In this fine spot, we took our shoes and socks off to cool off our feet. Our team chose breathable trail runners for the Augerpoint Traverse instead of hiking boots, and we were glad for it. Circlet Lake was our next objective, but we would just pass by.
